ISIPHILO FRAGRANCES was established on 29 March 2018 in Berea, Durban (4001), with a singular vision: to bring the luxury of premium fragrances to everyone. We believe that every individual deserves to experience the confidence and elegance that comes with a signature scent.

Thabo Nyathi

Founder & CEO, Isphilo Fragrance

The story of Isphilo Fragrance is one of ambition, cultural heritage, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Founded by Thabo Nyathi, the brand reflects his personal journey from a small town to the global stage of luxury cosmetics.

Early Years
Born and raised in the quiet town of Estcourt, Thabo's foundation was built at Fordaville Primary and Drakensberg Secondary School.
2016 - 2017
After completing his matric in 2016, Thabo took a pivotal gap year in Johannesburg to refine his business acumen and academic standing.
2018
Moved to Durban to pursue Marketing at the Durban University of Technology (DUT). This academic environment sparked the commercial fire that would become Isphilo.
The Birth of Isphilo
During his first semester at DUT, Thabo began selling unbranded colognes. By the end of 2018, he officially established and named the brand: Isphilo Fragrance.
